How does The Rufus Relief Fund work?

***We wish we could help every single pet! As we are in our infancy, we will have limited availability to help every one who reaches out. The more we are shared and the more donations that come in, the more we can do.***

And until we can, we must work on a case by case basis with your veterinarian. We review applications to ensure that the pet and owner can get the care needed fast. (At this time, we are not able to assist financially with preventative vet care, annual vaccines, or routine care.)

RRF accepts applications through this site. We must be given permission by the owner to speak to the veterinarian, and we will work with them in providing funds to help offset the cost of the procedure or medication needed for the pet's health. Our medical professionals we team up with will review and determine if a successful outcome is possible based on the animal’s history. I wish we could help every animal…however the funds need to be spent carefully so we can continue to help in the future.
